Journal Entry 3 - America Eagle Gate B17, Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas

The flight from LAX to DFW was really not that bad. I drifted in and out of sleep. I had a Pepsi and a $3 cookie that tasted really good.

Upon approaching DFW, there was a run-in with storm clouds. There was some turbulance, but the cool part was watching the crazy Southern lightning storms we would never, ever get in Southern California! I just tried to watch out the window the entire time before our approach to landing.

So, we landed. Obviously. I looked up DFW online and saw the layout before and on the plane. I knew how it would work. I could have walked, but, how could I pass up riding the Skytrain?

So, I boarded the train that runs around the entire American terminal. Crazy! They should totally make a UCSD Campus Loop Skytrain. Anyway, the airport is actually pretty cool! I like it. It's easier to get around than LAX.

So, they switched my gate about 3 times! I keep checking, and it keeps moving. I did stop at a store to get snacks, my Entertainment Weekly, and a Dallas shirt and post cards for people. I'll get more useless stuff later. It's just cool to be in Dallas.

Well, it'ms pouring rain outside and there's another lighting storm. Great! Hopefully my flight to Biloxi isn't delayed. Also, need to make sure my gate doesn't keep changing!
